In tins thesis, the author analysed some bad tendencies of the current education, such as corporal punishment and corporal punishment in disguised form; and kinds of teachers' mistaken educational conceptions or ideas. Making researches into many examples of successful education, the author has put forward an effective way to solve this problem. That's the appreciative education. He believes that by means of the appreciative education we can foster students of many abilities and make most of them succeed in lots of fields.The author also approached thorough the intension and the role of the appreciative education, seeked the theoretical basis of psychology and pedagogy which makes the appreciative education get a great success; He inquired and discussed how to get rid of some bad tendencies in teaching, how to carry out the appreciative education in middle school teaching so that we can make our students develop in an all round way (morally, intellectually and physically).Moreover the author expounded the relationship between the appreciative education and the non-intellectual factors. With lots of examples and methods, he introduced the use of the appreciative education in the middle school teaching and some successful experience. The thesis also shows: if we apply the concept of the appreciative education in training our students, they can get more knowledge and abilities, furthermore develop their good psychological characters.Main research methods: Documentary analysis, experienced summary etc.
