With the enlargement of the senior students, the numerous number of the students in a grade brings the educating and teaching plenty of new problems and trouble. This article gives a detail report on Sanming No.1 Middle School's "One-Grade but Two-System" educational reform. This reform is in an experimental way, emphasizing on the procession of the experiment. It aims to introduce the "School -base Management " into the school educational reform, to set up the objective system of humanism, to wield the encouraging machanism, to arouse the enthusiasm of all the teachers and students, to develop the human resourse and to train the vitality of blazing new trails. Its final purpose is to probe an effective way suitable to the school education reality.Now the experiment has been put into practice and the expected result has come into being. Both Grade A and Grade B have taken on a new look. Teachers and students are competiting, cooperating and improving together. Their subjective conciousness and individual speciality have been given scope to. The school education is bringing about changes day after day, which promotes the improvement of the school educational quality. The experiment shows that "One -Grade but Two-System "educational reform accords with the demands and is effective in practice. It helps to make the secondary education universal and to increase the school quality.Brief introduction: Chen Wei li, graducating from Foreign Language Institute of Fujian Normal University in 1982, has been working in Sanming No. 1 Middle School for over twenty years. She is talent in English teaching and is always in charge of a class, a grade or a subject. She is often invited to all kinds of teaching discussion and exchange. She is now one of the members of Fujian Foreign Language Literature .
