with the development of the science and technology and the fierce worldwild competition, the qualified personnel are in great need of. As the important content and the channel of the aesthetic education, the middle school music education is an indispensable part in the qualified orientied education. The middle school music course is the main place where the students receive aesthetic education. However, the teachers are always faced with such the problems as the following. Some students are lack of enthusiasm and inefficiency while attending the class. Some students are late for the class. Some even skip school work. This article is to focus on the study motivation, its function, classification, the previous study achievement as well as the existing problems. The article aims to find the ways to promote the students' study motivation through the analysis of the features and the causes of the current study motivation in the middle school music class.
