With the continuous development and progress of China's education reform,the state has advocated the all-around quality-oriented education in order to cultivate socialist builders and successors who are all-round development of morality,intelligence,sports and beauty.Because of its unique artistic charm,social function,and particularity of admission in the college entrance examination,music,as an important carrier of human culture,hasalways been focused by the education department and the vast number of students.Many high schools have set up music arts examination-training classes in order to pursue higher education rates.But what is the status of teaching in music arts examination-trainin classes?What is the evaluation of students who are enrolled in the music arts examination-training classes?All these issues deserve the attention and reflection of each of our music educators.The purpose of this study was to investigate the status quo of music teaching in the first-year and second-grade music examination-training classes in Wujiashan Middle School,Wuhan No.39 Middle School and Wujiashan No.4 Middle School.The music teachers from three high schools were participants used interviews to collect information.This essay conducted qualitative research on the current status of the music teacher's basic situation,management methods,curriculum,and admissions standards.All the students from the three high school high school music arts examinatio-training classes were selected as subjects and questionnaires were used to collect data.In order to fully understand the basic situation of students and students' evaluation of music classes in music arts examination-training classes,qualitative and quantitative research paradigms are used to examine the relationships among variables,and data analysis is conducted on the results of the research,combined with humanistic management theory and multivariate analysis,multi-intelligence theory and curriculum,and teaching theory to explain the research results.The research results show that our country's high school music arts examination class has not yet formed a unified teaching management system and evaluation system.In these three high school music arts examination-training classes,the management method is oversimple;the music course opened is too casual;the exam-oriented education is overly emphasized;the time schedule is not reasonable;teaching facilities,such as piano room,can not meet the lneeds of students;teaching materials and teaching content is unsatisfied and can not meet the requirements of music aesthetic education;the student's class time can not be guaranteed under the one-to-many teaching modes.Thus,the teaching effect can not be improved.The number of enrolled students is too high wheares the enrollment standard is low.Most students even do not have musical foundation.In terms of the faculty,the number of teachers is limited and they are generally aging.The subjects taught are too single;besides piano,instrumental music education is neglected.This paper is divided into six parts:the first part is the introduction.It mainly describes the research background,research purpose and problems.The second part is the research summary,consisting of three chapters:The first section is the definition of the concept;The second section is the theoretical basis,including humanism theory,multi-intelligence theory and curriculum and teaching theory;the third section is the status quoat home and abroad,which discusses the related investigation of the present situation of domestic music art examination class,the development history of American school music education and the music curriculum design of American primary and middle schools.The third part is the research method,and the design of the investigation and research,respectively.The fourth part is the results of the research.The fourth part is the research result.Firstly,the students' questionnaire sample data is compared and analyzed by SPSS software.The basic data of the sample,the reliability and validity of the questionnaire,and the data analysis of the student evaluation are analyzed quantitatively.Second,qualitative analysis of the contents of the interviews with teachers.The fifth part is the research conclusions and suggestions.It proposes the management methods of music teaching in music arts examination-training classes and the problems existing in the teaching staff.It also analyzes the limitations of this paper and the prospect of the author in the future.
