The source material for this thesis comes from a quality oriented educationproject-"Happy Campus" carried out in Xiangfan. The thesis makes an in-depthanalysis of the rich connotation and theoretical value of "Happy Campus". It points out this project is the inheritance and development of the ideas of happy education in modern or ancient times, in China or elsewhere. This kind of education is more reasonable, humane and creative with great potentialities. It is beneficial not only to the healthy and harmonious development of teenagers and children but also to the comprehensive self-examination and rectification of the traditional ideology and pattern of school management. Thus we can establish a more scientific and rational model for future education in primary and secondary schools and take good canted of the development of education in a "Learning society". What's more, the project helps to develop a citizenry who have high qualities and can meet the requirements of social development and characteristics of the times. Ultimately it lays a foundation for the smooth implement of the strategy of making our country strong through science and education.The thesis is divided into four parts:Part I: the connotation of "Happy Campus"Part II: the execution of "Happy Campus" and the analysis of its achievementsPart III: the analysis of its theoretical valuePart IV: the problems during the process of carrying out "Happy Campers" and some suggestions.
