Jinchang is a new resource industry city mainly based on nonferrous metals and heavy chemical industry. It was founded in 1982, with the high- develop of economics and fast-spread of scale, now the citizens are more than 200,000. As a typical immigrating and mining industry city, the youngsters crime is becoming a social problem. Although the delinquency proportion as a whole is reducing, it is still very high in the school. So it's very important and necessary for us to investigate andanalysis its " Reserve force"-- the reasons of the harmful groups among the schoolstudents, above all, to find out the effective education way to deal with the situation.I have synthesized the knowledge of sociology, criminology, educational sociology, educational psychology, educational management, and so on. By the data and material research, visiting, investigations of interview and questionnaire, etc.. According to qualitative and quantitative analysis below, I have studied the formation, character and reasons of the harmful groups among the middle school students in Jinchang.1. Analyse the forms of the harmful groups among the middle school students in Jinchang.2. Combine 8 kinds of forms of expression and 10 kinds of previous signs of joining or organizing the harmful groups.3. Analyse the key element from four ways by society, families, schools and the students themselves.( 1 ) The main social reasons: The changes of surroundings; Too much differencebetween the rich and the poor; Negative influence of movies and TV, literature andinternet; Short measure against illegal and criminal activities.( 2 ) The main family reasons: Family shortcoming; Unsuitable education wordsand deeds of parents; Less communication between parents and children.( 3 ) The main school reasons: Punishment and corporal punishment in disguisedform; Psychological punishment; Fierce competition of entering a higher school andsending "bad students" away from school.( 4 ) The own reasons of students: The contradiction between their well-consideredphysiology and uncompleted psychology; Incorrect comparison of overconsumingand living conditions; Short sense of law and discipline; Asking for protection;Making irrelevant friends.4. Illustrate my thoughts as a headmaster about the preventing and helping the harmful groups in educational practicality and consciousness among the middle school students; The way and advice to society and families.
