Several Key Elements In Improving The Effects Of Statistic Processing In Physical Education Scientific Research

By means of documents, interviewing of experts, statistic analysis, comparison and logical analysis, combined with other researchers' results and analysis of the problems exposed in statistic processing, the author tries to analyze the major factors that influence the effects of statistic analysis. The results point out that if the researchers want to improve the effects of statistical processing, the following aspects should be paid special attention to: 1) The researchers should have a definite target in research in order to define the statistical population of the problem. The target of researching is the guidance of the whole process of analysis. Statistical population is a bridge between the target and the methods applied. Meanwhile, it is also the starting point and destination of data processing. 2) The researchers also should reduce the influence of irrelevant variables in measurement to guarantee the external validity of processing. 3) According to different categories of data, different sauces of variation and information contained in the data, the researchers should scientifically process the data and integrate the problems and methods. 4) The researchers should fully realize the limit of statistics but not get confined in it. In application, the data should satisfy the presupposition hypothesis. If the data fail to do it, the researchers should take corresponding changes. Statistics is not an all-round cure. The results of statistics are only the certain results of data processing of certain model, which should be scientifically examined under the unity of professional knowledge and the design of experiments.
