Interpersonal communication exerts great influence on the girl students of middle school in several aspects like social skill, self-consciousness, performance in school work and mental health. It's of great significance to study the girl students' interpersonal communication both theoretically and practically. With school life being setting and girl students' contact with teachers and classmates being object of study, an overall investigation has been made about the situation at present on the basis of a wide survey and some study methods. The research, on one hand, gives a summary of basis features in girl students' communication: sentimentality, polarization, imbalance and combination; on the other hand, analyzes several problems existing in the process of girls' communication: the girls usually feel lonely but seldom communicate with others voluntarily; they don't get on well with teachers and even become estranged from them; many girls have strong mental pressure when communicating with others because of lack of self-efficacy; many girls lack interpersonal metacongnitive knowledge, and some girl students are even badly affected by the cyber- communication. So in view of above problems and combining with the mental character of girl students, suggestions are put forward to improve interpersonal communication, that is to establish a proper idea, to own a good quality, to learn the are and to overcome the hinder during the process of communication.
