In modern society, science and technology is developed so quickly that traditional school education can' t meets people' s needs for full-life education . Under this condition , education is required reform from emphasizing conclusions to the course of obtaining knowledge. Teaching should focus on the student' s preliminary scientific research ability and scientific attitudes, not concrete knowledge. The experiment is the main channel to obtain information, train creative thinking and ability in physics studying. This text has developed the exploration of the theory and practice on exploratory physical experiments teaching in the middle school, Guided students to probe new knowledge on one's own initiative, and trained the attitude of independent study to meet the request of education all the life in the modern society.The first part: based on formed and basic concepts of exploratory experiment teaching, physics teaching goals of middle school and functions of exploratory experiments, we have defined the exploratory physical experiment of the middle school, compared exploratory physics experiment and traditional experiments, proceeded from the teaching theory and studying theory, expound the fact that the theory foundationof the exploratory physics: J. Piaget' s cognition-development theory,Bruner' s cognition-discovery theory and constructionism ,combining the teaching goals of middle school experiments ,gived the teaching goals of exploratory physics experiment: observation ability, thinking ability, operating ability goal and emotion attitude goal, and explained each goal concretely so that the exploratory physics experiment has an object in view.Based on this, the second part of thesis is that the teaching designof exploratory physics experiment. It includes the design principle, the teaching principle, teaching mode of the exploratory physics experiment and implementation steps.The third part is the practice part of exploratory physics experiments. At first it trains students to probe into the basic ability, then the development of exploratory physics experiments, which includes the organizational form of the exploratory experiment, content of courses, the analysis of several teaching cases while practising, from daily teaching (including theory knowledge teaching, demonstrating experiment, student experiment). At last, it combines teaching practise , summarized this text, and explains the follow-up work .
