In matching with the on-going rapid changes in the society and great development in science and technology, the demand for the qualification of teachers has been definitely increased. The new curriculum reform of basic education has brought new challenge to the junior middle school Chinese teachers .The teachers' life style of classroom will be changed thoroughly. With the change of students' study way, teachers should reconstruct their own teaching way. If teachers have the sense of urgency of the reform of curriculum, change their idea of education on their own initiative, adjust their teaching action and change the teachers role, it will influence directly the vivosphere of teachers in new curriculum and the effective enforcement of curriculum reform. The adaptation to the role of new curriculum becomes the problem to be resolved urgently for the junior middle school teachers.There are six parts in the paper, the first three parts deal with the theoretic and practical significance of the Chinese teachers' role adaptation through discussing the background, conception and necessity of it. The fourth part is an investigation on the junior middle school Chinese teachers in experimental districts of Chongqing by randomly sampling. By means of questioner, documentary and non-structural interview, we have investigated the Chinese teachers from the teachers idea of education, the change of teaching action and the change of students' study way for the teachers and investigated the students from their comprehension of the new Chinese text book, the new Chinese curriculum teaching, the change of students' study way and their evaluation on the new Chinese curriculum. The subjects include the junior middle school Chinese teachers and students in the experimental districts of Chongqing. By the SPSS 11.0, we make the statistical analysis of the data so as to find out the problems and reasons. Therefore, the paper discusses how to resolve it. First, we should change the idea of education and promote the teachers' change from inculcating knowledge to facilitating the development of students. Second, we should improve the teachers' professional development and advance the teachers' change from pure curriculum executants to researcher and constructors. Third, we should emphasize the function of curriculum evaluation to develop education and promote the teachers' change from ultimate and only judge to stimulators of students natural development.
