Every child has the right to receive education and achieve the success in studies. But in reality, a lot of students with normal intelligence fall behind the other students with the same level or grade. That are we call them learning handicapped students today. How to improve the learning achievement of those learning handicapped students? School education must face the problem. Some studies showed that, students' self-efficacy has direct interrelation with their learning achievement. The self-efficacy is the main and direct factor in influencing the students' achievement. We should enhance the students' self-efficacy in order to improve the learning achievement of those learning handicapped students. The article includes three parts.Part one. At the base of analyzing the meaning of self-efficacy, will explain the implication of students' self-efficacy and its function. Then from the self-efficacy study between the excellent students and the learning handicapped students, we can conclude these two features. That are to say, the development level of self-efficacy of those students is much lower than the excellent students, and the development of their self-efficacy is obviously not be enough.Part two analyses the two factors of influencing the self-efficacy of the learning handicapped students from the school education, which are the competitive reward structure and the non-equal teacher-student interaction mechanism. The two factors have influence on students' experience whether success or failure; students' achievement attribution style or evaluation from social information.Part three describes three methods to improve the handicapped students' self-efficacy in teaching every day activity. One method is to increase the experience of success of the learning handicapped students in learning activity. Another method is to develop the active attribution style of the learning handicapped students. The other method is to improve the application in learning strategies of the learning handicapped students. |
