Research And Development On Test Paper Appraising System In Higher Education

This paper is based on the statistics principle, combining some related theoretical methods of the Educational Measurement and Appraisal, researching its reality in the computer system, developing the appraisal system of the higher educational examination paper. Its main content includes:First, briefly introducing the meaning and the characteristic of Educational Measurement and Appraisal, and the relationships between them.Second, making a detailed introduction about the appraisal theoretical methods in the higher education, and probing into the algorithmic reality.Third,providing a new method of appraising teaching effect-synthetical Appraisal Rule, and probing into the algorithmic reality.Fourth, using VISUAL BASIC and MS ACCESS. According to the prototype method researching and developing idea in the software engineering, designing and developing the appraisal system of the higher educational examination paper. This system realises several function,such as data input and calibration , the quality analysis of the examination paper, the teaching effect analysis and so on.Fifth, randomly sampling the examination results from several curriculum examination paper, using this system, making fixed quantitative analysis to the examination paper quality and the teaching effect of the corresponding curriculum obtaining scientific and detailed infornation, thereby providing the scientific basis for the analysis of the existing problems in the teaching activities, the teaching management and organization.
