This article expounds the importance of Chinese language literature on the students of tourism vocational schools. Through analyzing the facts, this article points out that Chinese language literature teaching can't satisfy the special requirement which the students of tourism vocational schools should have on the Chinese language literature, and also put forward the principle and measure which can reform the Chinese language literature teaching method of tourism vocational schools.The main body of this article is divided into three parts: "quality requirement to the service employees in the tourism field and Chinese language literature teaching" , "the students of tourism vocational schools and the language and literature of tourism vocational schools", "the principle and measure of Chinese language literature teaching reform of tourism vocational schools" .The first part: Through the introduction of the quality requirement of service employees, it analyzes the importance of Chinese language literature teaching to the students of tourism vocational schools.The second part: In the means of two aspects of teaching material and education, it introduces the present conditions of "four inferiority and one inclination" . It also points out that the current Chinese language literature teaching of tourism vocational schoolscan't satisfy the students' special request and emphasize s the necessity of Chinese language literature teaching of tourism vocational schools.The third part: According to the principle that Chinese language literature teaching reform must be interacted with students' reality, academics and students' word (life), it puts forward the concrete suggestion that a Chinese language literature complementary teaching material should be compiled and the ability of spoken language communication and esthetics should be fostered in the Chinese language literature teaching.
