An Initial Study On Teaching Models In Training Mathematics EDM Student

This thesis discusses the teaching models that connect with the actual problems in training mathematics EDM students from the perspective of students learning, the features and rules of training mathematics EDM students so that the students can get a better professional development.EDM is not academic degree but a vocational degree. Its purpose is to prepare personnel for primary or middle school not for college teaching. They can research on teaching methodology and also solve actual problems. According to its purpose, EDM education should adopt some teaching models under the guidelines of "Doing mathematics education". The models are as follow: 1. "Preparing for lessons "model. 2. "Lecture" model. 3. "Teaching Practice " model. 4. " Case Methods of Teaching" model. The models make full use of EDM's teaching experience as curriculum resources. They can enhance their teaching ability. The teaching models are based on the viewpoints of constructivism learning.
