| Education is a container that conveys culture. The education of nationality regards conveying national culture as its own responsibility. To minority nationalities, compared with education of school, family education has more advantage of function in conveying national culture. The state of this funtion, to a certain extent, influence the preservation of the national features and the conveyance of national culture. To the Miao Nationality, that's how things stand, because in history it have not its own characters but the national language; Its education of school is awkard and the education of family is the main form, which is the main features of traditional education. Therefore, under the background of modernization influencing traditional culture of nationality, of gradual recession of national feature of minority nationalities, of peopie appealing for keeping national tradition, it is a problem for the people of Miao Nationality how family education effectively makes the effect on conveying traditional culture of nationality and how to keep its national features. Based on this, it is necessary for us to make a research on family education of Miao Nationality.The thesis makes an example of research on the Miao Nationality of Gantang Village. Songtao autonomous Country, Guizhou province and makes a research on family education of Miao Nationality in a view cultural anthropology. Through the field investigation to family education of Miao Nationality, I analyses the changes, the reasons for changes and influence. Facing the changes and prevailing culture and the influence of them, how does the family educaton of Miao Nationality convey culture of Miao Nationality, which I think a lot.This thesis consists of four parts.In the first part which is the theoretical basis of the thesis I makes reference to reason for studying the problem, hi the second part I investigate the actual situation of the Miaos' family education which involves contents in the fields of production, life, knowledge of nature, skill, ethics, national history, custom, aesthetics,science and technology. In the third part I analyse the changes educational contents, educational pattern and educational idea as well as the changes' nature and impact under the influnce of reinforcement of national communication, expansion of schooling influence, change of family and other factors. Inview of the above -mentioned contents, I affirm the fiat that the Miaos' family education conveys the Miaos' culture; besides, I point out that the shock of prevailing culture on the Miaos' family education influences its function of conveying national culture in the fourth part. Consequently, I think it is of necessity to improve macroscopic and microcosmic circumstances, carry out national policy to family, mix education of cultural identification with discipline education, strengthen its own construction of family and enlarge the theoretical research in this aspect. |
