At present, the recovery has been paid more attention to after the high intensity, high-burdened training during the sports competition, so how to probe into the mechanism of exercise fatigue and take the measures has been a heated focus. The cause of sports fatigue has many relations with the body free radicals. After high intensity of sports, the free radical concentration will be increased apparently, therefore, to study the recovery of the free radicals has been a focus on the sports fatigue.Generally speaking, there is high proportion no-O2 exercise during the high intensity exercise The insufficient oxygen can inhabit the activity of nervous system and some organs. Thanks to the importance of oxygen, now days, the attention of way of O2 intake to improve the exercise fatigue has been drawn.The purpose of this study was to provide some reasons for the recovery way of exercise fatigue. Twenty subjects, divided into the O2 intake group and no-O2 intake group was from physical education department who are healthy males. They would inhale the normal atmosphere and the mixed gas (O2 concentration at 30%, and N2 70%) accordingly, When exercised to fatigue, the free radical metabolic, thered blood cell antioxidation and blood locate wouldl be tested.The test showed:The free radical concentration of red cell and serum was increased, and so were SOD, the GSH-PX of serum. It showed: after exercise, the body was in the high condition of antioxidant system to adapt to the high status of free radicals.Compared with the quiet state, the rate of SOD/MDA of red cell, SOD/MDA x GSH-PX /MDA of serum were decreased after exercise, it showed: Although the activity of antioxidant enzyme was increased , the capacity of antioxidant system was decreased, the tissues or cells might be injured.The concentration of blood locate was increased significantly, which might be one of the reasons causing the exercise fatigue.The increased extent of free radical concentration on O2 intake group was lower than that on no-(>2 intake group, and there was significant difference (p<0.05), and so was the serum, but the difference was not significant. The activity of SOD of red cell was still higher compared with the state after exercises immediately, but the no-O2 intake group was low. The SOD activity of serum was higher significantly compared with the no-O2 intake group (P<0.05) after exercises immediately. Regarding the extent change of serum GSH-PX, the group of O2 intake was higher than no-O2 intake group. It showed: there might be a benefit to the activity of antioxidant enzymes by breathing some hyperoxia O2 after exercise.The decreased extent of SOD/LPO on the O2 intake group was lower than the that on the contrast group significantly, and so were the SOD/LPO, GSH-PX/LPO of serum, but no significance. Which showed: the hyperoxia O2 ccould enhance the ability of antioxidant system.Compared with the state after exercise immediately, the decreased extent ofblood locate concentration was higher than that on no-O2 intake group, but there was no significant difference. Which showed that hyperoxia 02 intake might have no significant effect on the recovery of the blood locate.On conclusion, it was suggested that breathing some certain concentration and pressure oxygen might increase the antioxidant capacity and decrease the free radical damage to the human being ,which might be an active factor on the recovery of the exercise fatigue.
