The Development Of A CAI System Based On Network

Based on the requirements of modern teaching, this thesis studies the applications of computers, networks and multimedia techniques in a CAI system. Subsequently it also designs a cognitive model, develops a CAI system based on network. As a result, tutor and management for both learning by oneself and teaching in class are well carried out in the system.During developing this system, we have discussed deeply the teaching designs and system designs of the course, investigated the applications of OLE., ActiveX, COM, multimedia streaming techniques, electric whiteboard techniques, flash techniques in the system.In the thesis, based on Knowledge Streaming technique we have also studied the applications of multimedia courseware on the circumstance of network, and have presented the corresponding resolving thoughts and realizing methods.
