Re?cognition of the Nature of Chinese Subject Summary The nature of Chinese subject,which is a basic problem in Chinese education,concerns the overall situation of it. It抯 necessary to grasp the nature of Chinese subject properly, which will ensure the accurate suggestion of Chinese teaching task, the proper choice of Chinese teaching methods,and the improvement of Chinese teaching quality,nevertheless, will play an important part in the change of the views in Chinese education and Chinese qualities?teaching practice. In the past half century, people have never stopped steps towards the research into this problem. However, the latest output middle school抯 Chinese teaching syllabus is not good enough to grasp the nature of Chinese subject yet. The fact that people confuse Chinese with Chinese subject,and Chinese with language,which people have been scolding, is not paid any attention to. What抯 more, two pairs of completely different concepts are still lumped together. In this article, the writer intends to jump out of the traditional circle in which people treat problems simply on the basis of linguistic category, through differentiating and analyzing elative concepts, looking back upon the history of the statements on the nature of Chinese subject indifferent Chinese teaching syllabuses and classifying relative arguments about it, change the viewpoint, and put an emphasis on speech and sense of language in the category of psychology to re梒ognize it. Chinese is about the use of Chinese language, that is the learning of speech, while Chinese subject is a subject of speech education, one course to cultivate students?sense of language through various speech activities.
