The middle school students at present are the main strength of our socialism construction in the 21st century, their ideology and morality including their culture and quality not only reflects the extent of the social ci\ ilization. but also takes decisive effect on the style and features and national spirits of our country in the future.Moral survey is a very important part of middle sc1 :>ol moral work, by way of survey, the students are encouraged to develop their merits and overcome their short comings, so that the students can make themselves prefect and we can check our moral work in order to make progress in it.But, for a long time, the way of comments on the behavior of the students have been usually used in ou$ middle school. The method takes some effect, but its drawbacks have reveal itself with the development of science of education and experience. The main malpractice is that the teachers' comments on the student's behavior and morality are obviously subjective and they do it as they please without any facts because the teachers comment mainly from their experience and impression So their comments are short of characteristics and the different moralu\ between different students is difficult to appear. The conclusive comments on the students' behavior and morality based on one thing or another .t\ one time makes it one-sided. At the :ame time, because of the effect of pursuing the proportion of the students' entering schools of higher grade, 'lie- ^omments are full of fictitious phenomenon. In a ward, the traditional comment is not so objective, all-round and accurate that it can not reflect the real facts of the students behavior and morality, and it can not take motive eifect on the students" grow-up, which it should have effect.With the development of moral reform, people realized more and more clearly that backward survey affect seriously the moral reform and prevent from making it scientific. So it must be changed. In the recent years, researches on the moral survey have been paid much attention and someillprogress has been made: but in a whole moral survey develops slowly. It paces up and down, based on the experience people did and some experiments, the compilation of some tools of moral survey are researched in the article.Three steps are divided in the compilation the survey scale for the junior middle school students' moral trait develop:The first step: At first, by way of checking historic documents and research interview etc. the content of moral survey is decided, and the index of moral trait development is collected, based on them, the question paper of the middle school students' moral structure factors are compiled. Then, the one-hundred middle school teachers are questioned, who are elected to A style objects trained by project of gardener in the 21st century in GuangXiZhuangZu autonomous region, according to the different important extent of all the items in the question paper, the teachers make different elections. Finally, the most important survey items are chosen, then, by way of principle analysis, junior middle school students' moral structures are researched and discussed, based on them, the survey index system for junior middle school students' moral trait development is set up.The second step: At first, according to the survey index system for moral trait development, survey test papers are compiled. Then the primary survey scale is decided; after that,-choose a class of junior grade three in GuiLin middle school at random, then ask the students in the class to answer the questions, check with the primary survey scale and collect data.
