A Research On Incorruptibility Education For College Students In Jiang-su Province

As college students are the future of country and the hope of nation, therefore, the incorruptibility education for college students become an objective demand to improve students'comprehensive quality and promote the students'harmonious development; serving as an inevitable requirement to construct harmonious campus and establish the belief of harmonious society idea; inheriting and contributing to the traditional incorruptibility thought in Chinese culture. In this way, establishing the course system of the incorruptibility education for college students is composited as the important aspects to strengthen the moral education on campus. At all times, the Communist Party and relevant departments of the government are always highly concerned with this, having provided much policy support for the incorruptibility education on college students. The majority of young people with the strong combating corruption desires are the mass base of the incorruptibility education. The teachers with good moral quality and special skill are the principal power for incorruptibility education. The education system in higher college and institutes dominates with the distinctive advantages that compares with home education and society education. All these aspects will make it possible for the incorruptibility education on campus.Through the investigation for the viewpoints on incorruption of college students in Jiang-su province, we found that there are distinctive conflictions in their awareness for the incorruptibility. On one side, they hate corruption phenomena; while on the other side, they have are uncertain with the value identity for some corruption behaviors. This phenomenon indicates that, they are influenced by such factors as international environment, realistic corruption cases, social value orientation and family environment. At the same time, they are greatly affected by the complicated environment on campus. At present, there are a lot of problems on the incorruptibility education, such as formalism, assessment system lackness, educational innovation and the education incompleteness.The incorruption education needs the theoretical support of Marxist theory, political science, psychology and pedagogy.As for the countermeasure for incorruption education, first, we should rely on the adva- ntage of teaching and let classroom teaching to play the main role; carry out the incorruption education during the important period for college students in their growing period; integrate the incorruption awareness education into the routine management work. Second, we should enhance teachers' moral construction and set good examples for students; establish the camp- us culture"let everyone know incorruption and don't be corrupted"; combine the traditions and innovate the education to build the good carriers of the incorruption education. Final, we should carry out the social practice in depth to effectively expand the way of incorruption education.
