Research On The Incorruptibility Education Of College Students In The New Era

Anti-corruption has never been a new topic.In fact,corruption has been a problem since the foundation of any country.Acton,the British historian,once said:"power leads to corruption,absolute power leads to absolute corruption." In the 21st century,China has comprehensively deepened its reform and vigorously developed its economy,accompanying by the erosion of decadent culture brought by the pluralistic social values and different cultural trends.In addition,during the period of social transformation,all kinds of contradictions have become prominent and corruption has become increasingly serious.The Communist Party of China has always attached great importance to the problem of corruption,and has always made anti-corruption an important part of the Party’s work.However,we also found that some new characteristics have emerged in the problem of corruption:younger,higher education and diverse forms.In particular,university students,as non-public power holders,also show some "micro corruption" behaviors,and corruption is no longer the "exclusive"matter of "adults" or "officials".China has entered a new era and reached a new historical period.The historical responsibility to achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation falls on the younger generation.As the builders and successors of the socialist cause,college students are bound to step into the society and the workplace,becoming the mainstay in various fields and becoming leaders at all levels of authorities gradually.In this case,it is of great significance to strengthen college students’ incorruption education,enhance their sense of incorruption,and help them fasten the "first button" of employment.As an important extension of national anti-corruption work and an vital content of ideological and political education in colleges and universities,university students’ anti-corruption education has considerable theoretical and practical significance.This paper is based on the context of "theoretical explanation--historical investigation--realistic review--overseas reference--overall thinking--specific path" and this paper is divided into six chapters to study the incorruption education of college students in the new era.This paper starts with the interpretation of the meaning of honesty and clean government,and then expounds the connotation and characteristics of honesty education and college students’ honesty Education:College Students’ honesty education refers to a planned and organized educational practice for college students,whose purpose is to cultivate college students’ honesty consciousness and skills,strengthen the concept and ability of anti-corruption and gradually form the concept of integrity,self-discipline,dedication to the job.The honesty education of college students has some characteristics,for example,"it is closely related to the development of the times,and the development and needs of college students themselves,it presents more diversified educational methods and quantifiable educational effects." The theory of Incorruption Education of classical Marxist writers,the discussion on honesty education of Chinese fine traditional culture and the thoughts of successive leaders of the Communist Party of China on honesty education provide a solid theoretical foundation for the research on honesty education of college students in the new era.Since the founding of China,the historical development and basic experience of clean education for college students are the basis of the research on clean education for college students in the new era.The first stage was from 1949 to 1976,during which the establishment of ideological and theoretical education courses in colleges and universities brought chances for the honesty education of college students.The practical and realistic style of study provides the soil for college students’ incorruptible education.Attaching importance to social labor and carrying out practical activities provide an experimental place for honesty education of college students.The second stage was from 1976 to 2005,during which colleges and universities actively carried out honesty education for college students mainly through ideological and moral courses(ideological and theoretical education courses).We should carry out college students’ Incorruption Education by studying Marxist works,and promote college students’ Incorruption Education by civic moral education.From 2005 until now is the third phase.This period was marked by the promulgation by the central committee of the communist party of China(CPC)of the implementation outline for establishing and improving a system for punishing and preventing corruption with equal emphasis on education,system and supervision.The outline clearly requires colleges and universities to actively carry out honesty education for college students,so that the honesty education for college students has entered a period of rapid development.This paper summarizes the three stages of carrying out the basic experience of honesty education of college students:first,we adhere to the Marxist theory of honesty education of college students in the new era of guidance.Second,we should uphold the leadership of the communist party of China in clean education for college students in the new era.Third,we should carry forward and inherit the idea of clean education in fine traditional culture.Fourth,we must insist on the implementation of the fundamental task of cultivating morality in colleges and universities in the new era.It is an important part to conduct the research on honesty education of college students in different colleges and universities.This paper analyzes the data of 1030 valid questionnaires and sorts out 35 interview records from 10 universities in the east,central and west of China.the results of honesty education for college students in the new era can be concluded as follows:College students’recognition of honesty education has been strengthened and their awareness of honesty has been improved and achieved results.However,meanwhile,there are still some problems which exist in the honesty education of college students,such as insufficient team construction,imperfect education content,inadequate education methods,and inconsistent honesty practice.The main reasons for these problems are the lack of understanding of the importance and necessity of honesty education for college students,the continuous influence of value multi-culture and network environment,and the lack of effective educational synergy.The honesty education for college students can refer to some good practices and forms of honesty education abroad and in Hong Kong SAR.Curriculum teaching can cultivate students’honesty consciousness.practice activities can develop students’ honesty habit,and cultural atmosphere can guide students’ honesty concept.The government and society provide conditions and create an environment for the development of clean education for college students:the government provides a good practice base for clean education for college students.The rule of law society provides a good breeding ground for honesty education of college students.The most prominent inspiration from foreign countries and Hong Kong to the clean education of college students in China is:"China should strengthen the three-dimensional penetration of clean education,the government’s organizational guidance in clean education,and the active exploration of community education mode.In the new era,honesty education for college students is not an overnight thing,which needs a long period of efforts and the solid development and promotion.In order to further strengthen the honesty education of college students in the new era,this paper puts forward the educational objectives of "enhancing the awareness of honesty,promoting the recognition of honesty,establishing the concept of honesty,and practicing the behavior of honesty":the educational principle of "unity of direction and science,unity of cognition and practice,combination of indoctrination and two-way interaction,combination of explicit education and implicit education".This paper also tries to discuss the construction of honesty education mechanism of college students in the new era from four aspects,which are main body construction,organization mechanism,guarantee mechanism and evaluation mechanism respectively.The aim of honesty education for college students in the new era is to improve the effectiveness of education.This paper further strengthens the honesty education of college students in the new era and should be promoted from three dimensions,which are perfecting the content of honesty education,innovating the methods of honesty education and optimizing the environment of honesty education.We should draw nourishment from the classical theories of Marx and Engels,the fine traditional culture of China and the new theories of the new era,and gradually improve the content of honesty education.We should innovate the methods of honesty education from the aspects of classroom honesty education,practice honesty education and network honesty education.From the four aspects of social environment,campus environment,network environment and family environment,we optimize the honesty education environment,and finally form a synergy in educating people.
