| With the popularization of computer network technology, internet is influencing our life, ideas and the development of our economy, society, politics and culture in a profound and extensive way. Nowadays, computer and internet has become an indispensable part in many people's lives. However, when internet becomes college students'convenient tool in their daily lives and study, online games also dips into their lives, thus influence the development of their psychology, emotion, cognition, personality, etc. College students have weak self-control and immature personality, and online games have increasing negative effects. Therefore, the effects of online games on college students have become the focus of society. The thesis studies college students who are involved in online games, integrating the theories of sociology, psychology and management, thus mainly to reveal the double- sided influences of online games on college students, expound these influences systematically, analyze and discuss the causes of the negative effects, thereupon propose the elimination strategies. This thesis consists of three parts; the main contents of each part are as follows:The first part expounds the definition, classification, characteristics of online games and the related concepts and theories of"addiction to online games"in detail. Through the defining of addition to online games and expounding of the related theories, this part supplies reference and basis to eliminate negative effects of online games on college studentsThe second part analyzes the double- sided influences of online games on college students and the reasons that caused these negative effects. On the principle of the dialectical materialist view and the combination of theory and practice, through consulting a large number of documents and analyzing typical cases, the thesis analyzes the influences of online games on college students. The thesis thinks that online games have the positive effects on the angle of relieving realistic pressure, meeting the spiritual needs, improving thinking ability and training team cooperation spirit, therewith analyzes the negative effects in terms of neglecting studies, lacking interpersonal communication ability, abnormal internet consumption and inducing crimes. At last, this thesis discusses the causes of the negative effects and thinks that the main causes lie in the attraction of online games, college students'weak self-control and supervision deficiency of online games markets.The third part discuses the methods to eliminate negative effects of online games on college students, and puts forwards the strategies to eliminate negative effects through developing the guiding role of colleges and universities, the supervision role of governments, and the positive guidance role of public opinion, hoping to provide certain reference for colleges, governments and social sectors. |
