Tianjin University is famous for the achievements of scientific education, and the humanistic education has also been concerned. This article is based on the research that about the management theory of scientific education and humanistic education, and then analyze the education philosophy and corresponding practices of Tianjin University.The first chapter introduces the background on the topic selection,research significance,literature review and current status of issues . Chapter II has defined the definition of scientific education and humanistic education, and divided the relation of scientific education and humanistic education into three historical period, they are humanities education at the primary position,scientific education at the primary position and promote the management of scientific education and humanistic education. Chapter III from five aspects analyzed the needs for the scientific education and humanistic education syncretism. Chapter IV introduces the development history of Tianjin University's education philosophy. The 115-year history of Tianjin University is divided into four historical stages, they are the combined of engineering and law period,the combined of science and engineering period,the multidisciplinary university period and the comprehensive university period. During the study, the author selected several important Tianjin University leaders'educational philosophy as a typical to introduce in detail. In chapter V, the author researched Tianjin University's practices about improving teachers'qualities, optimizing curricula , Promoting quality education and constructing campus culture campus, and formed a relatively systematic in finally.
