The Existing Problems And Countermeasures Research On Social Assistance Of Higher Education Self-study Exam

Self-study exam is a special kind of Chinese higher educations, and social assistance is an important part of higher education self-study exam, because it is a connecting link between the state examination and self-study. The social assistance of self-study exam has experienced a long successional variation process. It has been changing with Chinese reform, opening up and education reform, and been developing with Chines economic and social development. At present it has been becoming perfect, also producing a great social impact. From the whole, the social assistance faced realistic problems resulted by a variety of causes, such as "teaching and examination are not separated", "teaching management is not standard", "legal system is not perfect", "management system is imperfect", etc. Researching self-study exam of higher education further, perfecting social assistance laws and regulations, solving management obstacles of social assistance can solve fundamentally these problems of social assistance, but also is an important measure put forward by Chinese government.This article first elaborates the background, purpose,meaning and situation of the research and the present situations of china and foreign countries about these. On the basis of summaring these concepts at different periods and from the different angles,this research redefines self-study exam of higher education from lifelong education theory, and expounds the nature and characteristics of social assistance. Secondly, it reviews the development course of the social assistance of higher education self-study exam from assistant organization, assistant students and assistant management. Based on these analysis, the research analyses these existing problems of social assistance of higher education self-study exam. Finally, the article puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions on the social assistance of higher education self-study examination, these conclusions include changing concepts, perfecting laws and regulations, increasing economic investment, perfecting service systems and perfecting evaluation systems and so on.
