With the process of modernization in present time, China had introduced lots ofwestern technology, people's material life increased, but the western culture andeducation idea that the good and bad are intermingled with followed, people'sspiritual domain also made a moral decrease, personality distorted and interpersonaltension, which sparked the reflection of educational philosophy. Nowadays, with thegreat rejuvenation of our nation, the Chinese traditional culture started to recover,from the base on the original source of wisdom, seek the foundations of the Chineseculture, form the national spirit and spiritual civilization and construct of aharmonious world, which became the focus of attention, inspired the discussion aboutConfucian philosophy of the countrymen.Confucius extended the"benevolence"relationship between man and man to"rite"rules, formed a set of philosophical system, which highly respect man andnature. The spiritual realm and the connotation have internalized the nationalcharacteristics, and have a far-reaching influence on the neighbor countries.Confucius educational philosophy is profound and rich, which tells us how todigestion the confusions caused by the model problems, to rebuild our spiritual home.Based on the Confucius educational philosophy thought as content, to achieve"people's free and overall development"as the goal, with the Marxist materialisticdialectics as guide, the paper analyze the Confucius educational philosophy, reveal itsreasonable kernel from the philosophical level, pursue its historical progress, try tomake glows with the spirit of age, become an important power of social development.This paper is divided into three parts, which analyze Confucius educationalphilosophy systematically and research the value in association with the socialdevelopment.The first part historically analyses the social background of Confuciuseducational philosophy and its implications. From the spring and autumn period ofeconomic transformation, political instability and cultural variety to Lu's turmoil,cultural traditions, and the growth of Confucius, the paper researches the inevitability of Confucius educational philosophy, and then dialectically rethinks its limitations,systemically analyses the purpose, gist, method and object of the Confuciuseducational philosophy.The second part is the innovative part of this paper,which extracts the essence ofConfucius educational philosophy in the way of the materialist dialectics. It refinesfour major categories of dialectical relations, including the dialectical unity of moraleducation and intellectual education, the sync of school education and socialeducation, the combination of universality of national education and particularity ofindividual education, the succession of the lifelong education with basic education,and finally constructs the system of Confucius educational philosophy.The third part is the sublimation of the whole paper. It combined the Confuciuseducational philosophy with contemporary social development, gives the ideas whichavail to social development, explains its modern significance and function, and makesit more possessed of the character of the times. The paper discusses how to use theConfucius philosophy of morality, quality and harmony to solve problems of moraldecline, achievement of healthy personality and building of harmonious society.Standing in the perspective of the globalization, the present paper also discusses theinfluence of Confucius educational philosophy to the world civilization.Today, we must have a clear understanding that the Confucius educationalphilosophy is the obstacle or the driving force to the development of contemporarysociety. This does not depend on the Confucius educational philosophy itself but thecontemporary man who reinterprets the Confucius educational philosophy. If weabsorb and then creatively transform the essence of Confucius educational philosophybasing on the needs of times, we will have the auxiliary force of contemporary socialdevelopment. The paper concludes that our society needs Confucius, so does thepresent time and the future.
