The quality of college education is closely related to people's overall development and healthy social development, and to national core competitiveness and the ascension of soft power, therefore, the quality college education becomes the common concern of governments, society and colleges. The Central Party Committee and the State Council have repeatedly stressed:"during the11th five-year plan"period, college education should fully implement the scientific outlook on development, and conscientiously put emphasis on improving our quality.In accordance with the Central Party Committee and the State Council,"during the 11th five-year plan"period", the Ministry of Education has carried out"the teaching quality and teaching reform project of colleges and universities"(hereinafter referred as"quality project") in order to improve the teaching quality of colleges and universities, by means of promoting reform and the realization of sharing high quality resources, based on the principle of"classified guidance, encouraging characteristics, focusing on reform", so as to strengthen the construction and comprehensively promote China's education quality of colleges and universities.Take an insight into the changes in recent years in the implementation of"quality project", it is not hard to find out that the"quality project"has played an important role in promoting the central position and the improvement of talent training of undergraduate teaching. It has become the crucial issue in the system design and practice of"quality project", how to keep the policy consistency, consolidate the achievement, how to strengthen managerial guiding ideology, faculty construction, professional construction, curriculum construction, teaching practice and the construction of other core essential factors, and how to promote the colleges and universities to strengthen mechanism construction and connotation construction based on the basic construction of teaching.From the current implementation of"quality project", this study discusses various measures of the Ministry of Education to improve the quality of college education; summarizes the implementation effect"quality project"of Hubei province ; refines the successful experience of the implementation and practice in"quality project"of Hubei province, analyzes objectively the existing problems and causes; tries to study the current quality of college education of Hubei province, in reference to the development requirement of teaching quality and construction and the author's practical of some problems, hoping for providing theoretical support and science and efficiency of decision-making for the"quality project"construction.
