The school history is the basic connotation of the school culture. In recent years,the School History to Culture Building in the Secondary and Primary School in our Country has developed vigorously,but the effect is not obvious, one of the reason is that the role of School History has not been played fully in the School Culture Building.In fact, many school has its own rich culture and long history tradition.If abandon or only treat it as its assets to be prade, it is difficult to transform the wealth into the educational resources to the development of the school, this is the tremendous waste of the educational resources. As a result, this study made a detailed explanation to the concept of "School History","School Culture" and "School Culture Construction" on the basis of summarizing some previous studies, and synthesized the research methods of questionnaire investigation, personal interview and in-the-spot investigation to understand the current role status and problems of school history to cultural construction in the secondary and primary school, and put forward some basic principles and way to solve the problems. Finally, this study made a further describtion with a typical case of Hangzhou Senior Middle School, hoping to some practical and instructional value for current cultural construction in secondary and primary schools.The study consists of eight main parts:The first part is the preface. It is a brief introduction to reason, significance, research literature review, the ideas and methods of this research.The second part is to explain some concepts, including "School History ","School Culture" and "School Cultural Construction"The third part is to analyse the necessity of developing the school culture by school history.The fourth part is to analyse the problems and the causes.The fifth part refers to the basic principles and way to solve problems. This section is not only the key, but also the purpose of this study.The sixth part is to discuss how to use the School History to build the school culture by the typical case of Hangzhou Senior Middle School. The aim is to provide intentional reference and the model for the development of school culture in secondary and primary school by school history. The seventh part is the end.Because it is a long-term discovery process to develope school culture construction by school history, the author hopes to some more related research appeared in this field and soluve the difficulties and problemsThe eighth part is the reference materials.
