At present, the development and reform of education have become an important strategy for most countries of the world coping with increasingly fierce international competition. With the world's curriculum reform, many countries are releasing the foundation education curriculum reform programmatic documents and new syllabuses. Singapore ministry of education curriculum development promulgated "Chinese Syllabus for Secondary School" in 2002.China promulgated "Chinese Syllabus for Ordinary High School(Test)" in 2003. Both of them have reflected the education concept and trend of new era. Based on the above two syllabuses, this paper will make a comparative study from the background, the basic framework, objective and multi-angle textbook compilation and etc, between two syllabuses, in order to find the similarities and differences of them and inspire the Chinese curriculum reform.The first part of this paper made a brief introduction of the subject preface sources, research status and research objects and research method. The second part, from the background of the two countries, introduced the Singapore Chinese education system reform background and the historical and realistic background of the syllabus produced in China, and make comparisons. The third part begins with the curriculum goal, introduced structure and characteristics of their curriculum goals and making comparison between. The fifth part respectively compared and analyzed the textbooks from the textbook principle, the structure and teaching material contents, teaching material selection of articles. At last, paper made a summary on comparative study of Chinese syllabuses between two countries.
