Research On The Establishment Of The Item Bank And Evaluation Scales Of Chinese Pinyin In Primary School

The Chinese Pinyin is the foundation of Chinese language learning in primary school. It's the tool for primary students to study Chinese characters and language. Mastering of Chinese Pinyin is one of the most important requests of primary school Chinese teaching. At present, there are many researches on the teaching objectives, teaching method, course content, teaching time of Chinese Pinyin while a few research findings on measurement and evaluation. This article utilizes modern technologies of education statistics, education measurement, sample survey to establish the item bank and evaluation scales of Chinese Pinyin for primary students which could provide the more convenient and precise testing tool for Chinese Pinyin measurement and evaluation.For the sake of convenient and accuracy, we choose the frequent user of syllable forms which is the corresponding of 2500 frequent user of Chinese characters in the test.Then, the syllable forms are divided to different ranks according to the frequency of availability which statisticsed by modern Chinese characters frequency. The test paper is composed of certain syllables which are extracted from each rank by certain proportion. Then the item bank is established with the various test papers.We will identify the students'attainment level after the syllable tests with the test paper of item bank. We have calculated 105 students'normative score of the sample school, and established the evaluation scales of the Chinese Pinyin test. Now teachers are easily to evaluate students'attainment level.The item bank and the evaluation scale of Chinese Pinyin in primary school have provided a convenient tool to measure and evaluate students'attainment level. It's filled the gap of the measurement and evaluation of Chinese Pinyin, and made it more conveniently and scientifically.
