At present the disadvantage of boy students' learning has become a common phenomenon in the field of international education. A few European and American countries are paying great attention to this issue by developing a series of plans including the plan-"Save the boy" and expanding multilateral cooperation to deal with the crisis.In the education of China, there is also boy disadvantage problem which has not drawn sufficient attention from the educators in both fields of educational theory and practice.Based on the characteristics of Chinese language, various research methods including questionnaires, classroom observation and document analysis are used to study the issue at the micro-level of language teaching. The basic way to mining the potential and improve the overall language ability of boys have been discussed on the serious review of current Chinese language educationThis article is divided into five parts-Introduction, an overview of the origin, literature review, study design and significance.In the first chapter, the status of disadvantages of the boy students learning Chinese language in junior high schools is declared through ways of questionnaires and classroom observation.In the second chapter, the causes of disadvantage of boy students learning Chinese language in junior high schools are attributed from viewpoints of biology, psychology, education and sociology based on the survey data.In the third chapter, from the viewpoint of education, the countermeasures are raised in language teaching to promote full advantage of the boys and the sound development of language education. At the same time the negative affection of the girl students Chinese language learning is minimized.At the Epilogue, a summary of the paper is made and a prospective recommendation for future research is raised.There are two points of innovation in this paper. The first one, the study has provided the research foundation of boys'disadvantages at the micro-level language teaching. The second one, a practical and operational strategy of language teaching is provided considering the psychological and physical characteristics of the boy students and it may be help for the language teaching reform in the middle schools in China.
