As one of the basic lesson types for mathematics teaching in junior high school, the revision class has its own specificity for it can change the educational value of mathematics teaching into the educational value of itself. The research on this specificity of the revision class not only can help teachers convert and infiltrate the educational value on the discipline level into the teaching course, but also can give a impetus to teachers to turn this value into the needs of students'growths and development. To better focus on the specific value of the revision class and inquire into it, this thesis will be grounded on the practice of the teaching in revision class for mathematics teaching in junior high school, starting with the existing problems and the origin. Then, the common educational value from the task-based teaching will be used to analyze the specificity of the revision class. By analysis, the study will go deep into the discussion about the specifically educational value of it. In the end, the research will concentrate on the different educational values of the different types of the revision class in detail, putting forwards some general rules and specific advices for the procedure and structure of divergent types of the revision class.The first part of the thesis is grounded on the teaching practice of the revision class for mathematics in junior high school. The author analyzed the problems and the origins existing in the teaching practice. There are three problems and origins respectively:the alienation of the revision class caused by wrong position; the teacher substitution caused by sorting out the revision excessively; the inefficiency caused by teachers'lack of converting ability.The second part of thesis starts with the students'age feature and development. Guided by the common value of the task-based teaching for mathematics in junior high school, the author explores the educational value of the revision class in specific and in detail.The third part of thesis is written based on the research results in the second part. Some general rules and advices for the procedures and structures of divergent types of revision class which could be referred to are put forward.
