| Chinese traditional health takes traditional philosophy as its theoretical guide, and comprehensive using the theory of Chinese medicine methods. Taken the specific means of Qigong, guidance to prolonging life by the methods such as improving the physical and mental health, developing our physical self control and improving both survival the quality of life. Ba Duan Jin is one of the healthy Qigong. It is also one of the content of traditional health Qigong. August 1996,Seven Ministries and commissions Joint order the file which is《Notice about Strengthening the management of social Qigong》.In this file, it was clearly proposed that social Qigong is the health Qigong and medical activities that huge people involved. By 2000, The All-china Sports Federation released a related management regulations specially that defined the Qigong as it is the Chinese traditional ethnic sports that combining body activity, breath deep breathing, and psychological adjustment as the main exercise form, it is the important part of time-honored culture. By 2003,the Federation finished the choreographing work of Five Aninals Play, Yijinjing, Ba Duan Jin and Mantra tactic. Ba Duan Jin integrated our body and mind to the role of preventing and treating disease by the mean of posture adjustment, breathing exercises and mind control by ourselves.After the new health Qigong was composed, with the efforts of all sectors, The promotion of Qigong is to the deeper level, but the time it present in college is relatively small. It is a new project in the college, especially to the graduates, few graduates has been contacted with it. The age structure of graduate is comparatively bigger than those of undergraduates, the courses of graduate is less than undergraduate which caused that the communication of students is less and their living area is comparatively narrow. The graduates skill their time mostly in the laboratory and computer room, lacking exercises caused their constitution needs to be enhanced. The psychological state of graduate is deteriorating year by year with the increasing of their employment pressure and life pressure. Nowadays, the problem of physical health and mental health with those graduates is extensive attended by the community. The medical effectiveness and health awareness initiated by Ba Duan Jin is general lack in the people at all levels in today's society. Overall, the theory research of how to carry out the Ba Duan Jin exercises better in the graduate group is relatively weak. This article is attempted to do some experimental study with the Ba Duan Jin exercising in the group of graduate to discover the influence of both physical health and mental health of them. Finally to achieve the propose that developing their good habits of lifelong exercises and their best contribution to the society.This research adopted the BFS mood scale revised by Abele and Brehm and General life satisfaction scale revised by Leunhg(1992) as my measurement tools. To measure the graduates of East China Normal University with their Ba Duan Jin exercises in their spare time. And measure the score of their vital capacity and'"Sit and Reach". Results show that 1,After the exercise of 12 weeks, the lung capacity of graduate improved significantly and flexibility has been improved. But the improve has no significant effect.2,Between the exercise of Ba Duan Jin, Graduate has the difference both in gender and sexist in the general life satisfaction.The score of female graduate students is much higher than of male graduate. The score of Science students is higher than those of liberal arts.3,After one time exercise of Ba Duan Jin, Terms of the mood, The positive mood has increased greatly. The negative mood has mitigation. Through the Experimental research of expanding the spare exercises with Ba Duan Jin in the group of graduates,in order to have a further exploration of the influence factors in the process of the graduates exercising Ba Duan Jin.
