| Education is the major issue to people's livelihood, in this case, giving priority to developing education is the long-term basic national policy of the party and the state. The investment of education is the most important issue to ensure the priority of education development. Committing the investment of higher education is very important to make the higher education of Liaoning more advanced.Based on the literature review and the interpretation of the related concept, nature, characteristics and the composition of investment in higher education, in this paper the writer selected the teachers, materials and funds in the process of investment in higher education by four aspects to analyze the situation of investment in Liaoning higher education. Firstly, reviewed the course of development of higher education in Liaoning Province and analyzed the investment status. Secondly, Liaoning compared with the investment situation of Jiangsu, Hubei and Shaanxi Province, which have well-developed higher education. Thirdly, to compared the investment in subordinate, provincial and municipal undergraduate colleges and universities of Liaoning to conduct the study. Fourthly, conduct the 43 undergraduate colleges and universities in Liaoning Province by both public and private investment in comparative studies.Through analysis and comparative study above, there are a number of problems of the investment in Liaoning higher education. The relative lack of government investment; relatively less investment in the provincial institutions of higher learning; the strength of private higher education is relatively weak, and higher vocational college education is relatively slow and so on.Based on the above analysis, this paper put forward the following suggestions:the government should both further the strength in the investment of higher education and optimize investment structure; focus on improving the investment quota of provincial universities, and promote the development of provincial universities; actively fostering the development of private institutions of higher learning; the expansion of higher education investment channels. By using these measures to the overall level of Liaoning Province, the upgrading of higher education can promote. |
