It is clearly pointed out in New Standards of the Senior High School English Curriculum that teachers in the teaching process should"focus on the students'learning process. By creating the situations for learning, explore the way of teaching and widen the way of learning, help the students to experience, understand, construct and enrich learning experience and finally realize the spread of knowledge, the development of ability and the nourishment of positive emotion."It requires that teachers should not only pay attention to the factors of cognition but also the factors of emotion in teaching practice. It makes it clear that it is necessary for teachers to combine the factors of cognition with the factors of emotion in the teaching process in order to achieve the purpose of the integration of cognition and emotion. As a result, the students'cognition and emotion will develop harmoniously. In the following thesis, by analyzing the present teaching situation in senior high school and the relevant theoretical research at home and abroad, I expect to share with everyone the application of the strategies of the integration of cognition and emotion in Senior English Teaching, which is related to my own teaching experience. It is aimed to explore the effective ways to apply the strategies of the integration of cognition and emotion in Senior English Teaching by way of exploring the teaching resources, creating situations, improving the evaluation methods and establishing the harmonious relationship between students and teachers.
