| Biology is a lab-based subject, and biological science is the development process of exploration and discovery of experimentations on life. Therefore, the implementation of inquiry teaching in high school biological class has a unique advantage in the explored ability and scientific literacy of high school students. This thesis analyzed typical cases by the inquiry teaching of senior school biology from different angles, depending on inquiry teaching theory and the related theories, in order to find some useful Optimization Strategies in teaching of senior school biology.The thesis is composed by three parts. The first part mainly elaborates the background, status, development of inquiry teaching, as well as significance and analysis methods of this study. The second part is the theory foundation of the thesis, containing the concept, contests, characteristics and the associated theory of inquiry teaching. The third part is to link theory with practice. In this part, the scientific history type, experiment type, collection and analysis type, experience-based, model building type, survey type, "thinking and discussion" type and multimedia-based type of inquiry teaching were chose, and a typical case selected from each type to be analyzed. Detailed comparisons were done from utilization of teaching resources, the dominant position of teachers in teaching, the status of student body to difficulty degree in inquiry teaching. Some optimization strategies were given from those cases analyses, such as, to improve the comprehensive ability of teachers, to develop students' interest in exploring, how to put forward "questions", to select the appropriate means and the dialectical relationship between teaching and learning of inquiry teaching in high school biology.The implementation of inquiry teaching in high school biology can effectively improve students' interest in studying, develop the accomplishment of biological sciences for high school students, and take an important role in the implementation of the new curriculum. |
