The Degree system is diversifying gradually in the master degree education in China since form 1980s, and that is academic degree and professional degree. The engineering master degree started in 1985 as the first master degree and makes great progress through these years. The number of engineering master increases sharply since from expanding in 1999, but one the other hand, problems occurred in the quality of the masters at the same time.This article will have an investigation to know the master degree education in domestic and overseas, professional degree master education and engineering master education from the point of studying of engineering masters with the adult study theory and lifelong study theory,. This article will also analyze the psychology of engineering masters and research their studying feature and demand through collecting their learning behavior in F city by questionnaire and interview to somebody. Then this article will have some proposal and countermeasure to improve the engineering master education from aspects of masters themselves, the school, the society environment for the reference of education quality enhance.This paper is formed by five parts:Chapter 1 is introduction part, including raising problems, defining relative conceptions, introducing research ideas and the basic frame of this article.Chapter 2 is the documentation summary and basic theory. The former part is to summarize the research of engineering master education and study in domestic and overseas. The latter part is to analyze the psychology of engineering masters and research their studying feature and demand based on adult studying theory, and to illustrate the reality meaning of engineering master education on the basis of lifelong studying theory.Chapter 3 is the learning behavior questionnaire of the engineering masters, including the questionnaire proceeding, the current situation of the engineering masters studying and the statistics and analysis of the questionnaire. The questionnaire is a buildup of courses with concentration, study target, study attitude and learning strategy, and paper design with study attitude, learning strategy and studying environment. It will be analyzed through SPSS that:a. the studying effect is in direct proportion to the learning behavior; b. the difference in the current situation of engineering master studying. The rank of studying in course (from high to low): study target, study attitude, concentration, and learning strategy, as the rank of studying in the paper design (from high to low):study attitude, learning strategy and studying environment.Chapter 4 is the factors which affect the studying of engineering masters, such as masters themselves, the school, the society environment.Chapter 5 is my proposal and countermeasures from the aspects of masters themselves, the school, the society environment, as well as the limitation of this research.
