The main aim and task for the training courses of table tennis specialized training is to improve the students'level and ability of the techniques of table tennis. The state and effect of the students during the training do not only depend on the teaching and the evaluation of the teacher and the feeling from the students, but also the measurement and the evaluation towards the performance of their techniques in the training by means of some certain quantitative approach and methods. Through the test and feedback upon the process and effect during the teaching and the training with quantitative accurate data, we are able to advance and promote the quality of teaching and training.The quantitative research towards the techniques training for the students majored in table tennis is some testing ways and approaches which are scientific, proper, and related to quantitative relation. Then choose adequate index, obtain all kinds of information related to the training level of the students' techniques. Sort up, conclude and analysis them so as to evaluate the training level of the students'techniques objectively, thus we can find something insufficient, and try to get it solved with effective methods.This research adopts a statistic analysis upon the tactical training tests' reports of 26 students from specialization class Grade 09 majored in physical education and table tennis specialization class Grade 09 majored in exercise training from March to April,2010 in Beijing Sport University. Combining to the index from the experts for reflecting the quality and effect of the students'training, and set up the MLR (Multiple Linear Regression), determine the contents and evaluation methodology. Besides, a inspection was carried out upon the students from table tennis Specialization class Grade 09 of educational major and exercise training major of Beijing Sport University May to June,2010. The research results indicate:(1) Through the preliminary screening, screening by the professors, and the screening of the actual test, procession of the statistics, and the practical check by the table-tennis specialization class of BSU, a evaluation criterion was concluded to reflect the quality and effect of the training program, which accord with the requirements of the technical ability to the specialized students. The test method is simple and convenient, meeting the requirements of evaluation criteria from the aspects of scientificalness, feasibility and relative completeness.(2) This research assures the time for exercise, average board numbers, the scoring average to reflect the quality and main target of the effect of the technique, bearing the reliability and feasibility on the theory and the practice, which is able to reflect the training quality and the effects of the students'training.(3) Adopting the evaluation criterion with the method combining statistics analysis and the professors'assessment, though the confirmation of the assessment of the students of 2009 Grade of BSU, this research is able to reflect the requirements of all kinds of technical ability for the students. By means of the test and evaluation of the students of this major, we are able to reflect the actual level of the students, check and evaluate the training quality and the effect, in order to control the training process effectively, and offer a better reference for the teaching and training for the table-tennis tactics.
