The harmonious development of higher education is not only the significant part of the harmonious society, but also the vital means for building socialist harmonious society. Harmonious higher education includes the congruence of enrollment service, recruitment, teaching administration, employment for graduate students and so on. The college entrance examination recruitment involves millions of households and it itself is kind of crucial livelihood issues in the society. Hence, are the high school graduates of various classes satisfied with the current mode of the college recruitment? Are there any obvious distinctions between them? Or will the satisfaction of college entrance examination recruitment affect the academic motives for students? This article will deal with the questions below:firstly, research on discrepancies of students' satisfactions of college recruitment in sexuality, city and town, branch of Art and Science and graduate students in different time. Secondly, research on the relationship between satisfaction of college entrance examination recruitment and academic motives.Questionnaire survey is adopted in this research which is through referring to some relevant articles and aiming at the questions that are highly concerned in the whole recruitment process. We set a few open questions focusing on the initial screening for 100 participants then started to compile the official questionnaires for satisfaction degree. Finally,385 freshmen took the questionnaires; afterwards we made some adjustment towards the questionnaires on basis of the analysis of the exploratory factors. 375 college freshmen in Chongqing took the revised questionnaires effectively and we conduct the analysis of the confirmatory factors, reliability tests and validity tests. The formal tests include society-oriented achievement motive scale (external motivation) and the individual-oriented achievement motive scale (inner motivation) written by Prof. Yu Anbang from Taiwan. Furthermore, we adopted correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis to inspect the distinctions in satisfaction of college entrance examination recruitment, academic motives and the relationship between these two factors for high school graduates of various classes. Hence, the results show below:1. Generally, the satisfaction degree of college enrollment is comparatively low which indicates that the average satisfaction degree is lower than the comparatively satisfied but students never deny the recruitment at all.2. In general, such huge differences lie in the satisfaction degree for recruitment for sexuality and students of different graduation time:firstly, male students tend to be more satisfied than the female students, while female students apt to be more contented with the hardware facilities in college; secondly, the previous graduates are more pleased with the recruitment information service than the graduates of this year; the students in countryside tend to be more satisfied with the whole recruiting process, pre-examination service and the justice of enrollment than the students in city; the students in town apt to be more contented with filling application, justice of enrollment and the hardware facilities for the colleges in six dimensions of information service, application filling, recruitment system, justice of enrollment, hardware facilities construction and software facilities construction than students in city.3. There is an evident discrepancy for external academic motivations between students in city and countryside which indicates that students from countryside boast much more external academic motives than those from city.4. The satisfaction degree for freshmen has an evident positive prediction towards the inner academic motives. That means that the higher the satisfaction is, the stronger the internal motives are. Meanwhile, the factors including pre-enrolled services, recruiting system, justice and results of recruitment have a positive effect on the internal academic motivations for college freshmen.
