| This thesis reviewed and summarized the research of a comprehensive reform of the western rural education since the 1980s. With the convocation of The Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, there has been a tremendous change in rural area since 1978. With the implementation of the structural reform of education, a comprehensive reform of education has been launched rapidly ever since the mid-1980s. Meanwhile, the research of a comprehensive reform of the rural education has been paid great attention by academe. In addition, a comprehensive reform of the western rural education has been paid some attention to some extent as well. With the implementation of the western development strategythere, there has been a great change since 2000. In particular, with the development of economy, society and cultural field, the improvement of the comprehensive national strength and the deepening of the knowing and understanding of a comprehensive reform of the western rural education by researchers, the study on it is deeper and wider. That is, since the 1980s, the research of the western rural education, especially a comprehensive reform of the western rural education, has changed a lot. Many researchers in the field of a comprehensive reform of the western rural education have changed their points, methods and angles of research. The increasing changes showed the great vitality of this field and its great academic value. However, till now, there is a lack of a complete conclusion in the research of the western rural education, especially a comprehensive reform of the western rural education, and a lack of thought in its direction and the specific path as well. Therefore, this thesis attempts to review and summarize the research of a comprehensive reform of the western rural education. On this basis, it explores the direction and paths of development of western rural education, especially a comprehensive reform of the western rural education in order to help people to know the western rural education especially the development of research of a comprehensive reform of the western rural education, aims to supply some enlightenments. Excepting the preamble, there are four parts in the text.The preamble mainly elaborated the content, purpose, significance, thoughts and methods of the research and so on, and reviewed and analyzed the relevant literature of research of a comprehensive reform of the western rural education systematically.The first part of the text reviewed the observation phase (1987-1993) of research achievements of a comprehensive reform of the western rural education. From 1987 to 1933, the government initially determined reform of policy and established the reform trial place. During this period, a majority of journal articles were about summary of experiences and achievements, and monographs were about compilation of official reports, and both of them were at a starting phase.The second part reviewed the reorganization phase (1994-2000) of research achievements of a comprehensive reform of the western rural education. From 1994 to 2000, due to the promulgation of Outline of China's Educational Reform and Development, a new epoch has begun for both of a comprehensive reform of the rural education and relevant research. The numbers of journal articles and monograph have sharply increased, and research entered a prosperity phase.The third part reviewed the analysis phase (2000-now) of research achievements of a comprehensive reform of the western rural education. Since 2001, the implementation of the western development strategy brought the new chances and historical changes to the reform of the western rural education, and the relevant research had a new breakthrough whether on extent or on depth.The forth part reviewed and looked forward to the research of a comprehensive reform of the western rural education. It mainly reviewed the previous research, looked forward to its development tendency and put forward the some suggestions to the western rural education, especially the development of research of a comprehensive reform of the western rural education. |
