Chongqing is a distinctive municipality where the big city and the big countryside coexist with uneven development between the urban and rural areas. Improving the quality of rural population in Chongqing, transforming the modes of development in rural areas, raising the income of farmers and their living standards and narrowing the urban-rural income gap should be given priority to in developing the countryside of Chongqing. Poverty in Chongqing's rural areas is similar to that in the other areas of China, meanwhile it also has its own unusual characters. The adult education plays a decisive role in realizing the all-round, coordinated and sustainable development of rural areas in Chongqing and the development of individuals of rural population. However, the quality of the adult education and service level ultimately depend on the quality of the adult education'teaching staff. Chongqing is the nationwide experiment region of overall plans of balance urban and rural development, therefore, this study is going to discuss how to preferentially build a reasonably structured and high-quality teaching staff of the adult education for rural areas possessing gracious professional ethics and polished competenceAs for researches of the teaching staff construction of the adult education in Chongqing, former scholars mostly focused on the validity of some measures within the system or they just simply made some discussion on ways and means of the teaching staff construction of the adult education. Based on the relevant existing research results, fieldwork and theoretical research, this study analyzes the difficulties and hindering factors of the teaching staff construction and reveals new mechanisms, new ideas and new acts in the perspectives of harmonious development of the adult education in rural areas in Chongqing, rational public resource allocation of the adult education, innovation of the system and mechanism of the adult education in rural areas and constructing the adult education policy and so on. The full text divides into five parts:Part 1:Introduction. This study discusses the background and significance of the research, analyze the purpose, significance and methods of the research; Define research scope and main concepts; analyse related research results, this paper expounds the idea of the research.Part 2:The situation and problems of rural adult education teachers'team construction in Chongqing. On the basis of analyzing the factors consisting of rural adult education teachers team, it introduces the goal, tools, object and implementation process of the investigation. By means of collection and analysis of the survey data, it summarizes the current problems existed in the construction of rural adult education teachers in Chongqing, including small quantity, the unreasonable structure, uneven distribution, low social approval and so on.Part 3:The analysis of the factors which hamper the construction of Chongqing's rural adult education. Combining current situation and problems of the construction of the teaching faculty in Chongqing's rural education, it lists the hindering causes in the following aspects:consciousness, system and policy, construction objectives and specific measures.Part 4:The target and content of construction of rural adult education teachers team in Chongqing. Combined with the goals proposed by national long-term development and requirements of Chongqing's rural adult education teachers team construction, it tries to build guiding ideology, objectives and contents of construction of rural adult education teachers team.Part 5:The methods of construction of rural adult education of teachers in Chongqing. On the basis of analyzing the problems found in investigations and the reasons, it aims to put forward the methods and strategies which can promote the further development of rural adult education teachers in Chongqing in the aspect of conception, system, and safeguard etc.
