The Study On Actuality And Strategies Of Cultural Teaching In Junior English

Language and culture are inseparable. Any language is forms from certain cultural context. English, as a language,is also not to be exceptional. This decided that English teaching is not only the language teaching process, but also is the cultural teaching process.To realize the cultural exchange, and to train the students'using ability in concrete practice are also the goal of English teaching. Regarding the teacher of English, when they teach the basic knowledge of English,they must teach the culture of English-speaking country. we should not neglect the importance of cultural teaching. But in our country, there are a series of problems in the cultural teaching of Junior English teaching practice.The thesis consists of four parts.The first part is an introduction. Propose the problems and through the document summary about culture and cultural teaching,â… summarize the theories and results of different linguists and researchers. And the study purpose, the value of this thesis and the thinking and methods of this thesis are also in this part.In the second part,I will analysis the present situation of Junior English teaching practice and discuss the problems which exist in the process of Junior English cultural teaching. Describe about the design for the study methods in details, including question design, investigation subjects, interview outline, interview subjects, observation content, observation subjects, presents the questionnaire results of the actual state of English culture study. At last, it summarizes the state of the English cultural teaching.In the third part, according to the results of questionnaire, interview and observation of the first part, I will point out the problems and analysis the reason of the problems in details.In the fourth part I will try my best to propose the solving problems'strategies, hoping to help our students and teachers.
