Sanda its unique characteristics and a wide range of social values and the unique physical, fitness, self-defense, cultivation of such values loved by the majority of the students, while colleges and universities nationwide have many physical options Sanda as a public course One. Therefore Sanda Colleges and Universities will become an important research topic.Henan Province is located in the Central Plains and has a long history as China's political, economic, and cultural center. To martial arts culture, the Henan Province is the birthplace of famous Shaolin Boxing and Tai Chi Boxing. The colleges and universities in Henan Province has advantages to offer sanda course because of its rich martial arts resources and a solid mass foundation. This environment is very conducive to the development and popularity of sanda in Henan Province. According to the purpose of this study, the author has investigate six universities each out of 37 universities opened sanda course and 58 universities that did not offer sanda course in Henan Province. By using literature data, survey, statistics, logical analysis, the author investigates the current situation of sanda, teaching content, teaching staff, teaching equipment, site environmental of the colleges and universities in Henan Province. The results show that the factors influenced the setting up of sanda course in universities in Henan province are:1. The widespread misunderstanding of sanda among students and some leaders of college2. The lack of high level teachers for sanda course3. The lack of sufficient attention on the morality in sanda teaching4. The lack of teaching space, equipment and other teaching equipment5.
