Accompanying with a large number of rural labors transferring to urban, there appears a emergence of a large number of special groups of children--- left-behind young children in rural areas of Chinese society. Although this group has been caused the concern of some scholars, the research in this area is not systematic and comprehensive. Early childhood is not only an important period of the germination of emotions, but also an critical period of cultivation of healthy emotions. Healthy development of children's emotion is meaningful for formating theirs characters and getting good qualities.However, there are not many researches of left-behind young children'emotion. So, the researcher investigated and analyzed the left-behind young children'emotions. The following conclusions:Current situation:1.Generally, in rural kindergartens, left-behind young children'emotions are inferior to other children significantly; No differences exist in the bottom class, but in the middle and top class; The significant differences always happen to the boy left-behind young children, not to girl children; The left-behind young children'emotions show no significant gender differences. 2. In the fields of emotional expression and control, curiosity and interest, the differences between left-behind young children and other children are significant of all class periods in rural kindergartens.3.In the fields of sympathy and responsibility, the left-behind young children are lower than other children, but not significantly. 4. In the field of collective sense, significant differences exist between rural kindergartens'left-behind young children and other children;These differences are significant in the middle and top class but not in the bottom class.Related factors: 1. In family, the time theparents stay with the left-behind young children is limited, their guardians'education is often low and educational concept is backward, all of these go against the emotion development of left-behind young children; In addition, scarcity of family educational resource restricts the emotion development of left-behind young children to some extent. 2.In rural kindergarten,poor teaching standard, courses close primary school, lacking of cooperation between families and kindergartens, all of these go against compensatory education about the social emotion to the left-behind young children children. 3. The state, rural basic units and kindergartens hardly raise any remedial measures about the left-behind young children'problems, which is severely bad for solving the problems.Finally, according to the related factors to left-behind young children'emotion, the researcher recommended some proposals and measures to solve the problems of left-behind young children from three aspects --- family, kindergarten and society.
