In the 21st century, an era of knowledge economy and information economy, knowledge and information are of great significance to economic development and social comprehensive advancement. Nowadays, the high-speed development of information society and stricter requirements are challenging us. The quality-oriented education, which focused on cultivating students'integrated quality, advanced rapidly and paid more attention to examining students'ability and emotional cultivation. However, conventional ideology and politics teaching in senior high school only stressed the theoretical point of view of the indoctrination and rote learning, which neglected the students in the teaching process of understanding, experience and insights, neglected the cultivation of students'reading comprehension that might be the basis of comprehensive ability, and also neglected enhancement of students'humanistic quality and cultivation of students'ideological and political quality. To a great extent, the above mentioned influenced the improvement of students'learning ability and comprehensive quality, exploitation of students'innovative potential, and students'deploitation and adaptability to the future society. Therefore, it is very important to consciously applicate reading teaching to cultivate and enhance students'reading quality, ideological and political quality, and humanistic quality.In the present study, our theories respected the reading rules in pedagogy and psychology, and were combined with related theories about reading teaching, based on the subject characteristics of the ideology and politics in senior high school, and guided by political high school curriculum standards (experimental). We elaborated on the definition, objective and characteristic of ideology and politics reading teaching in senior high school, and also addressed its principles and methods to guide the practice of ideology and politics reading teaching in senior high school. Expectedly, our present study would play an effective guidance role and improve the actual effect of ideology and politics reading teaching in senior high school, to cultivate students'comprehensive abilities, ideological and political quality, and focus on cultivation and improvement of students'reading quality and humanistic quality, moreover, create new teaching situations, bring new teaching impetus and provide innovative practical teaching methods for senior high school ideological and political courses in the new curriculum reform.In the present study, we discussed ideology and politics reading teaching in senior high school from the following five aspects.First, we started with the connotation of common reading teaching, enumerated the definitions of reading teaching in Chinese, mathematics, and biology subjects, and briefly analyzed the essence of reading teaching which implicates the teaching process among students, teachers, text and information during reading. Furthermore, we clarified the concept of reading teaching of ideology and politics in senior high school, and detailedly illuminated the definition, objective and characteristics of senior high school ideological and political course, which might make people clearly notice the difference of reading teaching between senior high school ideological and political course and other subjects. So that we might exactly grasp and understand the scientific connotation of reading teaching in senior high school ideological and political course.Second, we elaborated the necessity of promoting reading teaching in senior high school ideological and political course from three aspects including students'integrated development, teachers'profession development and senior high school ideological and political course teaching development. Moreover, we clarified the relationships between reading teaching and inquiry teaching, discussion-based teaching and cooperation teaching, and we also stated that reading teaching should be the basic platform of inquiry teaching, discussion-based teaching and cooperation teaching.Third, from different aspects including main building theory, the dialogue theory of reading teaching, Confucius's reading thought about combination of learning, thinking and practicing and Cyxomjnhcknn's thought about reading teaching, we constructed the theoretical support system for reading teaching in senior high school ideological and political course. We pointed out several aspects should be noticed in reading teaching of senior high school ideological and political course, including the unified relationship among reading, thinking and practicing in reading teaching, the exertion of student-oriented education in reading teaching, the role of advance organizer in reading teaching, the equal dialogue between the subjects of teachers and students in reading teaching, and the essential grasp of communication between main body and object in reading teaching. We were greatly enlightened by Cyxomjnhcknn's many effective and scientific methods about reading teaching.Fourth, we addressed reading teaching design in senior high school ideological and political course from four aspects including guide ideologies, teaching principles, teaching implement and teaching methods. We also emphasized that reading teaching in senior high school ideological and political course should focus on the students'integrated development and embodied the requirement of the course's character, should follow the principles of antecedence, internalization and practicality. We pointed out that read and speak method, debate method, cultivation method and experience method could be used for reading teaching in senior high school ideological and political course, and demonstration lessons of senior high school ideological and political course could be implemented through preview before class, dialogue in class and summarization after class.Finally, we briefly analyzed the exploration and utilization of object resources in reading teaching from four aspects, including the exploration of textbooks for senior high school political course, exploration of human resources, books resources and network information.
