Research On The Network And The Ideological And Political Education Of College Students

With the widespread of personal computer and network technology, the internet is becoming increasingly important for college students to acquire all kinds of knowledge and information, which has an extensive and profound impact on college students'studying, living and even their ideological concepts. The impacts are extremely complex, for there are not only positive impacts, but also negative ones that can't be ignored. As a result, Ideological and Political Education in colleges and universities is inevitably facing the problem------how to respond to the opportunities and challenges caused by these new technologies. So strengthening the study on Ideological and Political Education of college students under the network environment is an important topic in the new era.It can be said that the network has not only become a means of Ideological and Political Education, but also been built as an important position. At the same time, there emerges lots of theoretical researches on combination Ideological and Political Education with network. However, most of the researches focus on the methodology and technology. There needs more further studies on Ideological and Political Education of college students under the network environment.Firstly, the thesis combines The Statistic Report of the Development of Chinese Internet with questionnaires of Nanchang Aeronautical University. It states the research background., explains concepts related to internet and Ideological and Political Education of college students and introduces the current researching situation of the topic.Secondly, the thesis analyzes the main characteristics of internet and the ideological situiation of the today's college students and their usage of internet information. It also analyzes the main confusion and contradiction existing in their minds and the positive and negative influences the internet had on them.Then, based on the reality in Nanchang Aeronautical University, the thesis analyzes the opportunities and challenges the internet has brought to Ideological and Political Education of college students. Namely, the internet has provided Ideological and Political Education of college students with more sources of information, new contents and new means, which has promoted the change of educational ideas, concepts and enhanced the benign interaction between the objects and subjects of the ideological and political education of college students and improved the effectiveness of course of Ideological and Political Education. Meanwhile the internet has some negative influences and impacts on college students'view on politics, life and behavior.Finally, based on the previous analysis, the thesis analyzes the problems emerging from the actual practising one by one. The author suggests that we should renew our concepts and place more importance on Ideological and Political Education of college students under the network environment and that internet be used to create teaching methods of Ideological and Political Education and enrich the content of it to strengthen the derict effectiveness of the course of Ideological and Political Education. Besides that, the author proposes that we should also establish a team of high-qualitied teachers working on the education and perfect the working system and supervising system. Thus, the internet can play the deserved role in Ideological and Political Education of college students.
