| This paper gives a general survey of the current status of Wushu development in some rural areas of Shandong province by employing interviews, document analysis, logical analysis, comparative analysis, data analysis, questionnaires and other methods. It also analyzes the insufficiency of the development and the various constraining factors. In the field survey, the writer concludes the development of Wushu, as an excellent traditional sport, is not very optimistic in the rural areas of Shandong, even endangered in the loss of inheritance, which will limit its further development in the new rural construction and is not conducive to its popularity and market-oriented promotion.Since the reform and opening, our material needs are constantly met with the accelerating pace of China's socialist market economy. However, it is easily noticed that our spiritual needs are deficient. As a Chinese native means of building fitness, Wushu also promotes the construction of new rural communities and makes the cultural life more colorful. Its flexible forms, rich contents, harmonious atmosphere and accessibility attract the masses a lot. There is no doubt that it becomes a preferred program of promoting fitness in the new rural construction. China is in the early stages of new countryside construction, and the building of new rural community is also in the experimental stage. It is a good chance, also a great challenge for the development of this traditional sport. We should seize the historical opportunity to promote the new rural community culture comprehensively and accelerate the pace of fitness operations.According to the research, it is found that: with the influence of the unbalanced regional economy and other factors, the development of Wushu correspondingly appears to be unbalanced in the countryside of Shandong province and people's concepts there also have remarkable differences. Especially in some remote mountain areas, the problems of Wushu development appear more prominent. The regional differences exist in people's consciousness, enthusiasm, participating amount and acquaintance of Wushu. Besides, the management of government is also disproportionate, having problems with publicity and supervision. In some areas, the community fitness instructors have been assigned in place and people is doing a boom in fitness and entertainment. While in some other areas, people even have no sense of the community fitness instructors, not to mention of the activities. In addition, there are also places where the boxers are in their old ages but still have no heir. Wushu has been in a state of lacking of inheritors, even in danger of being lost. To solve the above problems, this paper will put forward some feasible suggestions and countermeasures:1. Deepen the reform of rural management of Wushu, establish a cultural managing system and promote its development towards industrialization and commercialization.2. Strengthen the connection and communication between the rural cultural stations and urban related departments to establish a"green channel"and achieve"urban-rural integration".3. Strengthen the intercourse between the rural Wushu club, school and government.4. Set up a local Wushu association and optimize its management and the assignment of professional instructors.5. Standardize the rural Wushu activities and competitions, develop the regional and representative Wushu and set it as a brand.6. Encourage and organize such activities as searching and sorting of Wushu, increasing the intensity of protection and positively declaring of the non-material cultural heritage protection.7. Cooperate with the mass media and increase the efforts of publicity to enhance the function of rally activities. |
