Dragon dance, typical of Chinese traditional sports, has now entered classrooms of colleges. Based on the study on the current situation in colleges and the theoretical construction of course setting, applying the methods of analyzing data, expert interview, questionnaire, statistics, logic analysis.The present study suggests the dragon dance curriculum can be constructed as follows. The course goals of dragon dance can be divided into two categories:The basic and development goals. The basic and development goals can be divided into five areas:involvement, skill, health, sound psychology, social adaptability. The teaching contents of dragon dance include theory and practical sections, which should have different requirements for students at different levels according to different modes. The teaching methods of dragon dance should be unique and diversified, advocating multi-lateral interaction between students and teachers in efforts to enhance enthusiasm. In the whole process of dragon dance teaching, teachers should apply an optimized combination of teaching methods based on different teaching contents and preparation states of students so as to give full play to the creativity of students. The learning evaluation of dragon dance can be carried out by objects involvement, skills, health, psychology and social adaptability in the form of teacher evaluation, group evaluation and self-evaluation.
