Since reform and opening-up, China's secondary vocational education has made great achievements. However, with the further improvement of the market economy system, secondary vocational education has failed to meet the needs of the society. "National Long-term Educational Reform and Development Plan (2010-2020)" has advocated to vigorously develop vocational education, which is a significant way to promote economic employment, improve people's livelihood and to solve the "Three Rural" issue. And it is also an important way to ease the tension between the supply and demand of labors. It must be placed in a more prominent position. To vigorously develop vocational education and improve its quality, further teaching reform should be carried on, and the curricular reform should be the key of teaching reform.This paper uses some research methods such as survey, interview, empirical method and literature study method. Firstly, based on the theoretical basis of curricular reform, it defines some concepts related to the reform, and explores the characteristics, laws and theories of the secondary vocational education in new times; Secondly, it analyzes the current situation and progress of vocational education reform, summarizes its achievements and experiences. Then this thesis analyzes the problems and shortcomings in the process of the curricular reform, which is the realistic situation for vocational curricular reform; Taking the current curricular reform of Loudi's four vocational schools as a case study, this thesis gives a full recognition of the achievements and a serious reflection on the shortcomings, and actively looks for the root of the problems in the vocational curricular reform. Thirdly, it puts forward ideas and vision of the curricular reform of secondary vocational education, explains the fundamental tasks and basic principles, development directions and the main contents of the reform; Finally, it studies the approach to the reform. It pints out that in curricular reform, curricular goals must be established on "people-oriented" principle, and the course structure should based on the principle of equal importance of knowledge, ability and quality. Carrying out "Level Teaching" teaching mode, implementing "credit" teaching management model, using a variety of curriculum evaluation methods, and actively improving school-based curricular reform can promote goal-oriented curricular development.In short, the teaching reform of secondary should focus on curricular reform, adhere to a clear direction for reform, reform the curricular content and curricular model, actively carry out curricular evaluation and management to create a good atmosphere for the reform and build a completely reasonable modular curricular system which is capacity-based, professional-practice-oriented, and the project courses should be its main body.
