With the High School English Curriculum Standards implemented,the progress of the English teacher's teaching philosophy is comprehensively promoted, as well as the various teaching methods and the effective teaching acts in the English classroom.However, as the new curriculum standards have developed further, more focus is concentrated on the teaching of practical significance in effective education. As a practitioner of the effective teaching, more educators begin to take a more sober look at effectiveness in English classroom.The combination of the effective teaching acts with teaching of high school English is that it can be guided by the basic concept of new high school English curriculum, and it aims at the object of high school English curriculum by the adoption of effective teaching tactics to promote the students' development and life-long learning in English, and it is a kind of student-teacher activities which comprehensively reflected in the obtaining of positive effectiveness of teaching and good English teaching effectiveness, and the higher efficiency of teaching.Firstly, the author analyses and excavates the existing theories on which effective teaching acts in the classroom have laid on. This thesis probes four theoretical perspectives:the High School English Curriculum Standards, Humanism Study Theories, English Constructivism Theory and Zone of Proximal Development Analysis by Vygotsky.Secondly, the author explores the factors which influence the effective teaching acts in the English classroom, combined with teacher's educational concepts, teaching abilities, activeness in present work, aiming at solving the low efficiency and non-efficiency of English teaching in high school. According to the two aspects of teachers and students, this thesis conducts search for the determining factors for the effective activities.Based on the analysis of factors in the effective teaching of English classroom instruction in high schools, the author puts forward five major transformations of organizing the effective English classroom, which are composed of philosophy of education, learning style, instructional design, course integration, instructional evaluation.Thirdly:the author conducts an implement investigation and study, through more than 650 questionnaires from students and teachers. This part investigates in terms of the learning efficiency and teaching effect in the background of new curriculum. From the microcosmic aspects, the thesis stresses five teaching tactics, which consist of Lectures, Discussion, Questioning, Classroom Environment, Incentive and Excise in practical efficiency in teaching acts.This thesis explores from the theory and practice of the effective teaching. It has a certain theoretical and practical significance.
