Analysis On Current Situation Of Improving "Sports, Art 2+1 Project" Of Primary And Secondary Schools In Weiyang District Of Yangzhou Under The New Course Standard Of Physical Education And Health

Along with the sports curriculum reform and the development, the new round of physical education curriculum reform of primary and secondary schools have been developed. To further reform and develop schools'sports and the esthetic education, "Sports, Art 2+1 Project" is put forward nationally under the guidance of new course standard of physical education and health. The development of this project can not be underestimated to the effort of improving education for all-round development and promoting students growth.Yangzhou has made a big progress in"2+1"project in recent years."Sunny Sport Exercises"for students of primary and secondary schools has been widely developed and all kinds of physical education and art specialist schools have been built up. In order to further clear about the current situation of"2+1"project implement of primary and secondary schools in Weiyang district of Yangzhou, the paper adopt methods include documentation, questionnaire, expert interview and statistic analytical method to investigate fields and equipments status, P.E. teachers' current situation and opening situation of P.E. course of primary and secondary schools in Weiyang district, based on the general situation of physical education reform. The possibilities and development prospects of fulfilling the"two skills, one characteristic"project in primary and secondary schools in Weiyang district were analyzed to point out directions for the next step of the project and accelerate the physical education teaching characteristics progress, with integrating "Sports, Art 2+1 Project" proposed by Ministry of Education.The results indicated: (1) schools can take full advantage of existing fields and equipments in the process of proposing"2+1"project as luck of outlay for building fields and buying equipments; (2) the overall age structure of P.E. teacher presents rejuvenation. Only a few P.E. teachers have high education, and teachers as researchers are also very limited, though the education criterion ratio is high. Besides, schools are lack of female P.E. teacher; (3) opening of P.E. curriculum meets the need of Jiangsu Province Office of Education. Further development of"2+1"project needs schools to encourage P.E. teacher exploit resources by all means.
